ABOUT US
Duo Sparks was established since year 2012 by two former national badminton players who are very passionate and serious about the game of badminton.
It is a professional badminton centre which conducts professional badminton coaching to students, social players as well as competitive players in Selangor. The chief coaches, Daphne Ng, and Sabrina Chong are both ex-national players of Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM).
MEET OUR FOUNDERS
DAPHNE NG (PhD)
A passionate, dedicated and determined former National Badminton Player who has extensive knowledge on Sports Science and Sports Psychology.
She has successfully inspired athletes and students to enjoy and instill sportsmanship in their lives.
Believed that the benefits of sports are invaluable and skills generated from sports are essentials in life.
SABRINA CHONG (Hons)
A former national badminton player who is passionate to share her experience and knowledge of badminton to the younger generation and those who are eager to learn more about the sport.
She is observant, experienced in strategizing game plans and have great communication skills with players.

“Duo Sparks emphasised on all aspects in badminton not losing out fun nor neglecting discipline. We would always start off training with various types of warm ups and end it with physical exercise to boost our stamina. Training can be boring but that was not the case at Duo Sparks. They had varieties of fun programs to train a certain skill. The coaches were not only dedicated but they knew how to make training fun which energised us players to look forward to training. They also often stayed back after training ended to spar with us. We built a close relationship together not forgetting the mutual respect between a player and a coach that was needed. Players at such a young age need sparks of fun midst learning something, and that’s what Duo Sparks is best known for”.
